Job Description
Position Overview
True Anomaly is on a new space race to develop innovative technology addressing next-generation engineering, manufacturing, and operational challenges for space security and sustainability. As a Level 2 DevOps Engineer, you will build and enhance cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized applications, collaborating with experts to support our mission of safeguarding peaceful space access.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Independently manage and troubleshoot containerized applications for reliable deployments and optimal performance.
- Assist in the design and maintenance of scalable, cost-efficient, and secure cloud-based solutions.
- Utilize Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources as Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce infrastructure security standards and identify potential risks.
- Monitor system performance with established logging and monitoring tools, proposing improvements for greater resilience.
- Provide technical support to software development teams by troubleshooting deployment issues and optimizing processes.
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to promote shared knowledge and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or a related area.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems and scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Demonstrated experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using GitHub Actions).
- Practical experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging frameworks and key security principles in a DevOps context.
- U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) and/or DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with hybrid networking and production-grade container orchestration solutions.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: Base Salary – Denver: $90,000 - $110,000 | Long Beach: $95,000 - $115,000. Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
