Position Overview
Salary: $61,000–$65,000/yr, Pay Grade: 10

As an Operations Manager, you will assist in directing and overseeing the support services operational needs of the department by coordinating the tasks of frontline associates and serving as a liaison between administration and unit departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and annually review standards and work procedures for all staff.
- Plan work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate service coverage.
- Assist in the hiring process including interviewing, hiring, and training new associates.
- Orient, develop, and supervise all supervisory/housekeeping staff.
- Conduct regular inspections and recommend facility improvements.
- Prepare monthly reports on goals, accomplishments, and future plans.
- Provide ongoing staff education and continuous training.
- Communicate effectively with staff, administration, and other departments.
- Coordinate outside services such as pest control, window cleaning, waste management, document destruction, and recycling programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, and/or facilities maintenance.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a support services field with high customer/client contact.
- Effective communication skills in written and oral formats.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and establish priorities.
- Ability to maintain organization in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
- Initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and proven leadership skills.
- Thorough knowledge of contract administration and general office procedures.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet applications.
