Job Description

Position Overview

As an Operations Recruiter II based in Elk Grove Village, IL, you will manage the full cycle recruitment process for our domestic business groups. In this role, you will promote our strong employment brand while ensuring a high-touch, positive experience for both clients and candidates. You will collaborate with Talent Acquisition leaders and business partners to develop and execute robust, global recruiting strategies and creative sourcing plans to attract top talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate strategic intake meetings with hiring managers and develop sourcing strategies for approved roles.
  • Source and engage candidates through various methods including job postings, employee referrals, social media, and recruitment events.
  • Implement and facilitate consistent recruiting policies and procedures while prioritizing and managing multiple searches efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines and draw on extensive Talent Acquisition expertise to support business leaders and HR partners.
  • Conduct candidate interviews—via digital video, telephone, or in-person sessions—and assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for the role.
  • Coordinate debrief sessions with hiring managers, review feedback and data, and finalize candidate recommendations.
  • Determine job offers for qualified candidates, partnering with Compensation and HR as needed to prepare and negotiate offers.
  • Communicate final candidate statuses and provide developmental feedback where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate staffing documentation and update records in the applicant tracking system to ensure compliance.
  • Manage relationships with staffing vendors, websites, and university contacts to support recruitment efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or at least 4 years of relevant HR work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience with at least 3 years dedicated recruiting experience and strong sourcing skills.
  • Proficiency with Taleo applicant tracking system and advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, SharePoint and databases.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities with excellent time management, follow-through, and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record in handling confidential information and building relationships across all levels of personnel.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as SHRM CP, SHRM SCP, PHR, SPHR, or GPHR.
  • Experience with Montage and coordinating/attending career fairs.
  • Prior experience in developing and delivering presentations as well as in global recruiting and sourcing.
