Position Overview

Agoda, a global travel leader where data and technology fuel innovation, is looking for an Associate Director - Flights Marketing. In this role, you will help shape and execute strategy for growing Agoda’s Flights business, working in a diverse, data‐driven environment that connects people to destinations and experiences worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-own the flights PnL with Product counterparts
  • Define the overall Marketing Strategy for the Flights Vertical
  • Execute the strategy: spearhead development, execution, and optimization to grow Agoda’s Flights business across various channels (e.g., CRM, Paid Performance marketing, pricing)
  • Guide, coach and manage a team of analysts and managers
  • Conduct end-to-end analysis of complex datasets related to channel performance, user behavior, and market trends, turning raw data into actionable insights
  • Develop hypotheses, design experiments (e.g., A/B tests), and build structured analyses to evaluate campaign effectiveness and drive data-based decisions
  • Partner with various business functions – especially Marketing Accommodation, Flights Product, and Flights Supply – to identify opportunities and interpret trends using tools like SQL and Tableau
  • Monitor and report on business initiative effectiveness, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Communicate complex findings, performance updates, and strategic recommendations clearly to key stakeholders including senior management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop your team while participating in hiring and onboarding new talent

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in data analysis or projects involving big data – preferably in tech, e-commerce, or digital marketing, with experience in strategic consulting and negotiating with C-level executives
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economics, or Finance
  • Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights and impactful recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal abilities, with experience creating visually appealing presentations
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to effectively communicate, influence, and persuade at different levels, including Senior Management
  • People management experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing team members
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Proactive with a strong sense of ownership and a get-it-done attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in digital or social media marketing
  • Experience in the online travel or e-commerce industry
  • Experience specifically within the flights industry
  • Familiarity with hypothesis testing frameworks, statistical analysis, and using Python/R for data manipulation and analysis
