We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Computer Technician to join our IT support team. In this role, you will be the frontline problem solver for technical issues, ensuring seamless computer management and optimal performance across our organization. Your expertise will help maintain our IT infrastructure, support end-users, and troubleshoot hardware and software challenges efficiently. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive onsite technical support to end-users for hardware, software, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware problems, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
  • Configure and maintain computer networks including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and other security measures.
  • Assist with software troubleshooting for applications such as Microsoft Office suite and other enterprise tools.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure components like switches, routers, and servers.
  • Ensure security protocols are followed by managing firewall settings and assisting with cybersecurity measures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and inventory of hardware/software assets.
  • Communicate effectively with users at all levels to provide clear guidance and support during troubleshooting processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be willing to drive to each job.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Proven experience in IT support or as a Computer Technician with a strong understanding of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Hands-on knowledge of computer management tools such as BMC Remedy or ServiceNow is preferred.
  • Familiarity with network configurations including LAN setup, VPN access, firewall management, and basic networking concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills related to software issues, hardware failures, and connectivity problems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Experience supporting desktop environments in diverse organizational settings.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
