Key Responsibilities

• Partner with users, product management, and UI/UX teams to design, develop, and validate transformative products for wildlife conservation.
• Maintain high standards of code quality through disciplined practices, including the implementation of unit tests.
• Thrive in a dynamic work environment with tight deadlines and changing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a web technologies software engineer.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS+SCSS, and JavaScript.
• Expert skill in using modern frameworks and platforms like React to build modular, scalable, and performant applications.
• Experience with automated testing at both unit and integration levels.
• Proficiency with version control systems and build tools.
• Solid understanding of responsive design best practices.
• Familiarity with web development tools (e.g., yarn, webpack, docker).
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, both within teams and with external partners.
• Experience in an Agile development setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mapping technologies (e.g., Mapbox, OpenLayers, ESRI or Google Maps).
• Significant knowledge of server-side technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• Strong coding experience with open-source libraries and frameworks.
• Experience delivering solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
