Position Overview
CAB Enterprises, Inc (referred to as "CAB Enterprises" or the "Company") is the exclusive sales and customer service representative for Electrolit in the United States. The primary objective of CAB Enterprises is to lead the growth of Electrolit sales in the United States.
The Sales Support Assistant plays a crucial role in providing administrative and clerical support to the sales team. This position is fundamental for ensuring that the sales team has the resources needed to effectively serve customers, close sales, and drive profitability for the company. Key responsibilities include managing customer communications via email and telephone, organizing sales contracts, and preparing essential reports and presentation materials. The role also involves maintaining files, databases, and relevant records, as well as coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, and catering services.
Location: Houston, TX (hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
- Generates reports on sales targets, forecasts, activity, and other related metrics.
- Maintains customer and sales databases to ensure accurate records and facilitate efficient communication.
- Keeps territory by regions and managers up to date, as well as sales organizational charts.
- Manages sales software applications on behalf of the team, entering and retrieving data for reporting purposes.
- Partners with Human Resources and Hiring Managers to facilitate the onboarding process for new sales hires, ensuring they receive all necessary tools and resources for success.
- Facilitates the onboarding process for new customers by ensuring accurate completion of required paperwork and coordinating the timely submission of documents for SAP setup.
- Compiles and integrates data from Key Account Managers into comprehensive monthly sales reports, along with budget and sales forecasts as required.
- Assists the sales team with correspondence by guiding them in reaching out to the appropriate contacts when necessary.
- Prepares thank you notes and gifts for clients.
- Communicates important customer feedback internally.
- Gathers promotional activities, maintains the promotional calendar monthly, and disseminates updates to the team.
- Collaborates with Logistics and Finance departments to effectively address inquiries from the sales team and customers.
- Trains and supports the sales team on systems, processes, and procedures.
- Maintains Sales Department workflow by analyzing and refining standard operating procedures.
- Inputs received sales data into the data management database for territory mapping.
- Prepares presentation materials and exhibits.
- Prepares and distributes reports or other communications on a regular schedule.
- Maintains files, databases, archives, or other relevant records.
- Manages the shipment of samples to customers, clients, and the sales team as needed.
- Assists the sales team with coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, catering services, etc.
- Collaborates with the Administrative Services Assistant to coordinate and communicate fleet requirements to the sales team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- A.S or equivalent education in related fields.
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in a CPG organization.
- Hands-on experience with CRM software and MS Office.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics.
- A team player with a high level of dedication and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in Spanish or bilingual skills is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for special events.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Ability to work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and using a computer.
