Position Overview
We are an outsourced marketing, sales, and promotional firm in the greater Columbus, OH area and a leading Promotions and Event Planning firm in Chicago. Due to our recent expansion, we are seeking entry level talent with the potential to grow into management positions. As an Entry Level Marketing Manager, you will promote our clients’ brand names by developing and supporting field marketing programs, collaborating with event marketing specialists and corporate teams to drive revenue through innovative campaigns and engaging events.
Key Responsibilities
- Impact sales results by developing, supporting, and executing field marketing and segment activities.
- Execute marketing campaigns and plan events based on expertise.
- Collaborate with clients and corporate/field marketing managers to create customized programs and strategies for various market segments.
- Provide coordination and project management to ensure event success, including taking on event attendance when required.
- Monitor the use of existing sales tools and provide input on requirements for additional tools.
- Publicize events and work with Account Development to raise awareness and drive high levels of attendance and participation.
- Advise on new ideas to generate revenue for diverse clientele.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience or training in marketing or sales is preferred, with room for exceptions for the right candidate.
- Experience in customer service or other people-oriented fields is desired.
- Sales experience is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
