Position Overview
Stryker, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies, is seeking a Sales Associate in our Sports Medicine specialty. In this role, you'll be the face of our products—assisting Sales Representatives in the sales, promotion, and marketing of innovative medical technologies while educating healthcare professionals on optimal product usage, maintenance, and updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Sales Representatives with selling, promoting, and marketing Stryker products.
- Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and staff on product functionality, maintenance, and updates.
- Tailor Stryker’s promotional message based on customer needs and advise on appropriate product selection.
- Represent one of the world’s leading medical device brands while impacting patient care.
- Fulfill additional duties including meeting physical requirements, communicating effectively with large groups and telephonically, negotiating transactions, and analyzing territory market potential.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years in an outside sales position (preferably in medical-related fields).
- B.A. or B.S. degree required.
- Field sales training – In-field training experience preferred.
- Successful completion of an in-house product training program.
- Possess leadership attributes: confident communicator, charismatic networker, strategic closer, trusted partner, and competitive achiever.
