The Cyber Defense & Resilience team is an integrated group of security and data technologists working at the intersection of cybersecurity, advanced cyber data engineering, and the use of AI and ML for cyber defense and operations. They serve as trusted advisors and managed service providers to modernize and secure client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and modernize large scale cyber data and analytics programs that promote organizational intelligence, provide embedded capacity, and implement as-a-service based subscription models at scale.
• Harness bleeding edge cyber big data and AI technologies such as Databricks for Cyber, AWS Security Lake, Google Sec Ops, and traditional security providers like Splunk, Crowdstrike, and Palo Alto.
• Enable day-to-day operations, maintenance, and ongoing enhancements of data platforms and applications while managing and governing the underlying data using standardized, automated, and AI-enabled Data Ops capabilities.
• Advance clients’ AI and Analytics journeys with flexible expertise, leveraging experience-hardened assets and curated data sets to scale AI and Analytics initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant Analytics consulting or industry experience.
• 2-4 years of experience with AI development tools such as vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Elastic) and AI frameworks (e.g., Langchain, CrewAI).
• 2-4 years of experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
• 2-4 years of experience using statistical computer languages (Python, SQL, R, SAS, etc.) for data preparation, visualization, feature generation, and overall data handling.
• 2-4 years of experience with cybersecurity cloud platforms (Google SecOps, AWS, Azure, etc.).
• 1-4 years of experience with SOC threat hunting and incident response.
• Demonstrated expertise in one full life cycle analytics engagement across strategy, design, and implementation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Empirical Statistics, or 4 years equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50% based on client and industry needs.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience architecting, designing, developing, and deploying enterprise data science solutions across the Artificial Intelligence spectrum (e.g., NLP, Chatbots, Virtual Assistants, Computer Vision, Cognitive Services) and big data tools for managing massive datasets.
• Knowledge of the intersection of AI/ML/Advanced Data Engineering with cybersecurity-specific use cases for detection and accelerated cyber threat response.
• Experience in parsing and normalizing cyber or IT-specific telemetry datasets.
• Expertise in Python machine and deep learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow, Scikit-learn, Numpy, SciPy).
• Experience designing and implementing Apache open source frameworks (Kafka, Storm, Spark) to handle end-to-end data management life cycles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (e.g., MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
