Position Overview
Leap Event Technology, a remote‐friendly company open to candidates across North America, is revolutionizing the event technology industry. We empower organizers with a comprehensive suite of ticketing, mobile apps, experiential marketing, and patron management tools. We are seeking an energetic, goal‐driven, self‐disciplined, and detail‐oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our remote Lead Generation team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact with prospects, screening companies and event organizers to identify those who can most benefit from our innovative event solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with prospects via phone and email to generate new sales opportunities.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects and cultivate their interest in Leap Event Technology solutions.
- Generate opportunities in line with established goals for both inbound and outbound prospecting.
- Create, research, and maintain lists of prospects to contact through various channels.
- Build trusted relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for new business based on prospect needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
- Screen potential clients to ensure they are qualified for our offerings.
- Move qualified leads through the sales and marketing funnel by connecting them with the appropriate team members and scheduling meetings, calls, or email follow-ups.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to record activities and interactions with prospects.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Team and Sales Leaders for a smooth transition from lead to opportunity.
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Sales Directors.
- Create outreach strategies for new lead generation methods.
- Support Sales Directors and Leadership with outbound lead generation efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience; experience with brands and agencies is preferred.
- 1-2 years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency with CRM software, AI tools, and sales enablement platforms (Salesforce, Apollo, Gemini preferred).
- Strong communication skills via phone, email, social prospecting, and web meetings.
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to understand prospects’ challenges and offer appropriate solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Good telephone etiquette and computer literacy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the live-events industry as well as knowledge of brands, agencies, and the technologies used by event organizers.
