IT Security Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Information Security Analyst for a 6-month contract position in Stamford, CT. This hybrid role (in-office 4 days, remote 1 day) involves protecting our organization’s information systems, managing vulnerability tracking, gathering audit evidence, and supporting the manager with various security tasks.Compensation:$33.00 - $38.00 per hour.Job Type:Full-time, 40 hours per week with a Monday to Friday schedule.Work Location:Hybrid remote in Stamford, CT 06901.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough security analysis to identify vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
• Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
• Manage software deployment processes while ensuring adherence to security protocols.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Document security incidents and responses, providing detailed reports for management review.
• Document and report issues, identify and correct system flaws, and improve overall security.
• Assist the manager and team with daily security issues, projects, and ad hoc initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience in information security or a related field.
• Experience with vulnerability management, security analysis, and software deployment protocols.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery planning and incident documentation.
• Local candidates only; must be within a commutable range to Stamford, CT.
