In this role, you will support Supply Chain Management by ensuring accurate receiving, distribution, inventory control, transportation, records management, warehousing, and storage of products. Key Responsibilities
- Support accurate receiving, distribution, inventory control, transportation, records management, warehousing, and storage of products.
- Manage daily material movement with a focus on safety, security, and productivity.
- Liaise with suppliers to expedite shipments, handle returns, and resolve invoice/receipt discrepancies.
- Handle a high volume of incoming requests via phone, mail, and fax, and coordinate with SCM personnel to resolve inquiries.
- Research and resolve transaction issues, including those related to invoices not received and received not invoiced.
- Assist with the distribution of medical products, including controlled substances and hazardous materials.
- Utilize reports to ensure data integrity and identify trends causing processing delays.
- Participate in SCM continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned, adhering to policies and governmental regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED required; Associate's Degree with equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Minimum two (2) years’ supply chain or business-related experience, or one (1) year with an Associate's Degree.
- Strong personal computer skills along with effective communication, problem-solving, continuous improvement, and teaming skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, adaptable, and flexible environment while handling and prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Experience supporting departmental initiatives and sharing knowledge with colleagues is a plus.
- A valid driver's license may be required for a subset of duties involving driving.
