Healthcare Facility Manager

Position Overview

The Facilities Manager at Tampa Bay Surgery Center is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of all facility systems and services. This role ensures that the facility operates efficiently and safely, focusing on HVAC systems, electrical systems, and overall facility management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, industrial maintenance, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Oversee the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repairs and upkeep of the facility.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized services and repairs as needed.
• Review schematics and blueprints to understand facility layouts and system designs.
• Lead projects related to facility upgrades or renovations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards for high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, logic controllers, and electrical systems (high voltage/low voltage).
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
• Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Maintenance experience (1 year preferred).
• Driver's License (preferred).
• Ability to commute to Tampa, FL 33618 (preferred).
• Ability to relocate before starting work (preferred).
