Position Overview
The Account Executive role is a sales position responsible for contract value retention and growth through contract expansion by introducing new products and services. This role serves a territory comprising specific mid-sized client accounts with revenue targets up to $750 million per annum. Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner with C-level and senior executives across various organizations within an assigned territory.
- Manage and renew member research contracts.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with new-to-Gartner organizations.
- Convert viable prospects to active Gartner clients by leading full sales conversations, negotiations, and ongoing account management.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of sales experience with a strong track record in consultative, senior-level B2B sales or a similar field.
- A high level of commercial intellect, executive presence, and sales acumen.
- A competitive drive combined with a collaborative approach to achieving goals.
