We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior HR Business Partner to join our dynamic, remote-first team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving organizational effectiveness and talent management initiatives across various departments. You will be instrumental in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with business objectives, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Your responsibilities will include partnering with leadership on workforce planning, talent acquisition and retention strategies, performance management, employee relations, and compensation and benefits. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing HR policies and programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and promoting our company culture and values. Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to understand business goals and translate them into effective HR strategies.
- Provide expert guidance and support on all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and implement talent management programs focused on employee development, succession planning, and retention.
- Oversee the performance management cycle, ensuring fair and consistent application of processes and providing coaching to managers.
- Partner with the recruitment team to attract and onboard top talent, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
- Develop, interpret, and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and legal adherence.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, measure effectiveness of HR programs, and provide actionable insights.
- Champion organizational change initiatives and support employees through transitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree: in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a Business Partner role.
- Leadership support: Proven experience supporting senior leadership and influencing organizational decisions.
- Employment law knowledge: Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Complex issues management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues.
- Program development: Experience in developing and implementing HR programs and policies.
- HRIS proficiency: Proficiency in HRIS systems and HR analytics.
- Remote working ability: Ability to thrive in a fully remote, fast-paced environment, demonstrating self-discipline and strong time management skills.
- Location: Must be based in the Indianapolis, Indiana, US metro area, though the role is fully remote.
