Job Overview:

Are you passionate about social media and customer service? NappStar Baltimore, LLC is seeking a creative and talented Hybrid Social Media / Front Desk Associate to join our team. As a hybrid role, you will be responsible for managing and creating engaging content for our salon's social media platforms while also assisting the salon team with front desk duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, shoot & post content on social media platforms
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Monitor & report social media analytics on key metrics
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing content
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing
  • Check in/out clients at the front desk
  • Assist with salon flow by spinning cycles as needed
  • Submit Open / Close shift forms

General

  • Complete open / close tasks and forms per shift
  • Follow salon standards for behavior and general workflow
  • Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves the salon
  • Offer excellent customer service
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to communicate with all levels of the team
  • Superb time management skills with a proven ability to meet & prioritize achieving deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Handle client questions promptly, professionally and courteously
  • Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with company policy.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools
  • Knowledge of beauty industry trends is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Background in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred
