Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our operations and analytics team. This role is responsible for transforming raw supply chain data into actionable insights that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels across procurement, production, logistics, and distribution. You will work closely with supply chain planners, procurement managers, operations teams, and IT/data engineering to design data models, dashboards, and advanced analytics that support critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from ERP systems and external sources (suppliers, logistics partners, IoT devices).
  • Build dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to provide real-time insights into inventory, demand, supplier performance, and transportation costs.
  • Partner with data engineers and IT to maintain reliable data pipelines and ensure data quality.
  • Identify supply chain bottlenecks and inefficiencies using advanced analytics techniques.
  • Communicate insights to business leaders through clear storytelling, presentations, and data-driven recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or data analytics roles.
  • Strong skills in SQL and one or more analytics/programming tools (Python, R, SAS).
  • Experience with BI visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and supply chain platforms.
  • Understanding of supply chain concepts (demand planning, inventory management, logistics, procurement).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with machine learning models for forecasting and optimization.
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms.
  • Knowledge of operations research techniques (linear programming, network optimization).
  • Experience with Infor XA.
