Position Overview
Centers Plan for Healthy Living is dedicated to creating the ultimate healthcare experience by guiding members, their families, and caregivers toward healthy living. In this role as Medicare MAP Advisor, you will promote and sell MAP and Medicare Line of Business while educating and enrolling potential beneficiaries in strict compliance with CMS and company policies. You will build a strong community presence and serve as a primary contact for current members.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate prospects on the CPHL MAP product designed for Full Medicaid and Medicare recipients in need of in-home and long-term care services.
- Serve as a consultative advisor by educating and enrolling beneficiaries, ensuring enrollment processes and documentation are completed accurately.
- Establish and nurture relationships with current members and leads while maintaining strong community visibility.
- Manage territory marketing by coordinating and attending community events and ensuring marketing materials are handled appropriately.
- Adhere to regulatory and internal compliance guidelines, including ongoing education and successful completion of compliance training.
- Utilize various technologies to maintain an electronic book of business and safeguard issued equipment.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely communication and resolution of issues, enhancing overall customer service and member retention.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of sales or relevant field-based experience.
- Active NYS Health and Accident License.
- AHIP Certification.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer, with strong computer/technology literacy.
- Willingness to travel across the five boroughs as this is a field-based position.
- Strict adherence to CMS and CPHL policies and guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual with English as the primary language.
- 3+ years of experience in Medicare or sales.
- Valid Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
