Position Overview
QSAC is a New York City and Long Island based nonprofit that supports children and adults with autism and their families in achieving greater independence, realizing their future potential, and contributing to their communities. QSAC pursues this mission through direct, person-centered services aimed at improving communication, socialization, academic, and functional skills.

This position provides administrative support for QSAC’s Offices and Programs with required travel between various center-based sites. A personal vehicle is required, andtravel reimbursementfor mileage and tolls is available when applicable. The position is based out of our Astoria Queens Location.Pay Rate for Position: $17.50
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to center-based sites throughout NYC and Long Island
- Welcome and admit visitors; greet students and families while maintaining proper security procedures (visitor log book, time card swipes, etc.)
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of individuals
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and ordering supplies
- Mirror responsibilities of the Office Manager when needed
- Maintain paper and computer files
- Manage calendars and create/edit Microsoft Office documents as requested
- Maintain confidentiality of individual/family information
- Respond to and transfer incoming calls, take messages professionally, and route calls as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate's degree (highly preferred) or equivalent administrative experience
- 1-2 years of customer service/office experience is highly preferred
- Punctuality and consistent attendance are expected
- Commitment to company values and strict adherence to policies
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, track, and follow-up on outstanding issues and projects
- Dependability and flexibility in your work approach
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be able to travel to various QSAC locations; a personal vehicle is required
