SEO|PR Specialist

Position Overview

We're seeking a strategic SEO/PR Specialist who excels in search engine optimization and has a creative approach to public relations. In this role, you’ll drive the online presence and reputation of our founder and clients by blending data-driven SEO strategies with compelling PR initiatives. Location: Remote | Hours: 40hrs/week

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive SEO audits, optimize on-page elements (e.g., metadata, schema markup) and improve site architecture to boost Google search and Google News visibility for key content such as podcasts.
• Develop and execute tailored strategies to push down negative content, elevate positive narratives, and build high-quality backlinks.
• Collaborate with creative and production teams to design PR-savvy campaigns that align with SEO initiatives.
• Deliver weekly performance reports, outlining progress with actionable next steps and ensuring a high implementation rate of recommendations.
• Meet key performance indicators in areas including search visibility, reputation improvement, technical optimizations, and content/backlink strategy.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in SEO, content optimization, or reputation management with a proven track record of boosting search rankings.
• Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
• Strong understanding of PR strategies and their integration with SEO efforts.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a data-driven analytical mindset.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a focus on producing measurable results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in podcast SEO or reputation management for personal brands.
• Familiarity with Google News submission and optimization processes.
• Background in developing and executing effective backlink strategies.
