ASC Engineering Lab Supervisor

Position Overview

The Engineering Lab Supervisor works under the direction of the Engineering Lab Manager on the First Shift.
In this role, you will lead a team of technicians in our Engineering Lab, which is responsible for developing prototype products and performing comprehensive testing and certification.
You will collaborate closely with management to ensure compliance with standards and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
• Set up and run performance and qualification testing.
• Generate detailed reports on investigations and findings.
• Develop procedures and strategies for the test department.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and problem-solving for complex engineering challenges.
• Prepare and present progress reports, metrics, and recommendations to the Engineering Manager.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field or similar area of study.
• Technical education and/or experience commensurate with the duties of the position.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatic and electrical fundamentals.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy, particularly familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
