Remote Well Operations Engineer

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Well Operations Engineer to manage and optimize oil and gas well performance from anywhere in the US. In this fully remote role, you will oversee daily operational activities, troubleshoot issues, and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency and safety. You will monitor well status, analyze production data, and develop operational plans aligned with company objectives and regulatory standards while coordinating with field teams, assessing equipment integrity, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibilities: Oversee daily operational activities, troubleshoot issues, and implement strategies to boost efficiency and safety.
• Monitor well status, analyze production data, and develop operational plans.
• Coordinate with field teams, assess equipment integrity, and identify opportunities for cost savings and performance improvements.
• Maintain detailed records, prepare comprehensive reports, and communicate effectively with management, field personnel, and external partners.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
• Experience Required: Several years of relevant industry experience with a proven track record in well operations management.
• Qualifications: Proficiency in well monitoring software and data analysis tools, along with a strong understanding of reservoir engineering principles, completion design, and production systems.
