Job Description

Position Overview

Loopback Analytics is hiring an innovative and team-oriented Operations Analyst Engineer who will work closely with Loopback Real World Data and Data Operations teams. This position is a critical member of the data operations and support team involved in innovating with leading-edge data lake and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet organization objectives by delivering comprehensive platforms in accordance with client expectations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional, performance, and security issues.
  • Support daily data integration processes for business continuity and maximum delivery of services.
  • Manage multiple data feeds and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Analyze and resolve data-related problem tickets.
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize Loopback internal data integration tools and processes.
  • Work effectively with and support multiple departments across the company.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to track the performance and health of data integration processes.
  • Document data integration processes, data flows, mappings, and transformation rules.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Data Operations Analyst working with cloud computing resources (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) and platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience supporting active data pipelines, monitoring operations, optimizing performance, and recovering from failures.
  • Proficiency in data-related programming languages, preferably SQL, Python, Scala, or R.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD technologies such as Git, Azure DevOps, and Airflow.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically to solve business and technical problems in team-oriented environments.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to scope complex problems, break them into components, and define effective solutions.
  • Innovative and creative business-minded thinker.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting ETL pipelines in environments handling personal health information in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations is a plus.
  • Experience with healthcare data, including clinical records, health claims, and pharmacy data.
  • Exhibit the ability to quickly learn and start writing software with new development technologies.
  • Proven capabilities in troubleshooting, analysis, and problem solving for complex projects.
