Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients in various acute medical/cardiac units.
  • Manage complex cases that span the entire human system.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in the Nurse Residency Program for professional development.
  • Engage in self-scheduling and manage shifts effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred.
  • Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered, must matriculate to Bachelors of Nursing program.
  • Active BLS via AHA, American Red Cross or Military Training Network at time of hire.
  • Active Maryland RN or Compact License at time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in acute care settings is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and IV titrations.
