Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in various acute medical/cardiac units.
- Manage complex cases that span the entire human system.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in the Nurse Residency Program for professional development.
- Engage in self-scheduling and manage shifts effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred.
- Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered, must matriculate to Bachelors of Nursing program.
- Active BLS via AHA, American Red Cross or Military Training Network at time of hire.
- Active Maryland RN or Compact License at time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in acute care settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and IV titrations.
