Job Description
JOB TITLE: Human Resources Team Member
REPORTS TO: Human Resources Management
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
PAY RATE: $20.25 per hour
JOB SUMMARY:
Oversee and assist in all areas of operation within the Human Resources Department. Please note this is a seasonal posistion with varied hours.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support throughout the full employee lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing employee support.
- Assist with scheduling, conducting, and coordinating interviews with various departments.
- Guide employees through the onboarding process, ensuring all forms and documentation are accurate and complete.
- Support payroll processes, timecard auditing, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Perform clerical duties including filing, answering phones, copying, faxing, and data entry.
- Maintain uniform inventory, issue uniforms/badges, and track all items distributed.
- Respond to employee inquiries, provide policy clarification, and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure HR office and lobby area remain clean, organized, and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Assist with planning and execution of employee events and recognition activities.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and managing documents.
- Uphold grooming, appearance, and uniform standards by counseling employees as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills; able to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable speaking in front of large groups when leading orientation or training.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; front office experience helpful.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
- Available for evening shifts during employee events.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to work independently at times.
- May be required to work in various weather conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires manual and bi‑manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech.
- Requires standing for long periods—up to 8 hours.
- Requires sitting, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and bending.
- Requires walking, reaching above shoulders, pushing, and pulling.
- Requires climbing ladders and stairs regularly.
- Requires occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Requires occasional carrying up to 100 pounds with a two‑wheel hand truck.
