JOB TITLE: Human Resources Team Member

REPORTS TO: Human Resources Management

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

PAY RATE: $20.25 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:

Oversee and assist in all areas of operation within the Human Resources Department. Please note this is a seasonal posistion with varied hours.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support throughout the full employee lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing employee support.
  • Assist with scheduling, conducting, and coordinating interviews with various departments.
  • Guide employees through the onboarding process, ensuring all forms and documentation are accurate and complete.
  • Support payroll processes, timecard auditing, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Perform clerical duties including filing, answering phones, copying, faxing, and data entry.
  • Maintain uniform inventory, issue uniforms/badges, and track all items distributed.
  • Respond to employee inquiries, provide policy clarification, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Ensure HR office and lobby area remain clean, organized, and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Assist with planning and execution of employee events and recognition activities.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and managing documents.
  • Uphold grooming, appearance, and uniform standards by counseling employees as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills; able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups when leading orientation or training.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; front office experience helpful.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
  • Available for evening shifts during employee events.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work independently at times.
  • May be required to work in various weather conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Requires manual and bi‑manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech.

  • Requires standing for long periods—up to 8 hours.
  • Requires sitting, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and bending.
  • Requires walking, reaching above shoulders, pushing, and pulling.
  • Requires climbing ladders and stairs regularly.
  • Requires occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires occasional carrying up to 100 pounds with a two‑wheel hand truck.
