Job Description

Position Overview

The Entry-Level Analyst at Augur offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging cost, schedule, and performance issues for government projects in defense and energy. You will receive intensive training, work in a cross‐functional team environment, and gain exposure to a wide variety of analytical disciplines—all while directly impacting the success of our small business. U.S. citizenship required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with government program offices on the acquisition of cutting-edge defense technologies and energy projects.
  • Perform Cost Analysis by developing and maintaining complex cost models, life cycle cost analysis, cost risk analysis, and cost performance tracking; execute special projects such as analysis of alternatives and regression analysis.
  • Conduct Schedule Analysis including critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis, integrated master schedule development, vendor performance tracking, and schedule risk analysis.
  • Manage Performance Management tasks through baseline events, audits, surveillance, and vendor performance analysis to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Develop dashboards and analytical reports using tools like PowerBI, Tableau, R, and other software to support data-driven decision making.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in quantitative science or business disciplines (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business, Physics, Engineering, etc.).
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis, project management concepts, data collection, and interpretation.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Competence in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • U.S. citizenship required and the ability to obtain and maintain the necessary levels of security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MS Project and other analytical software tools.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as R, Python, and VBA.
