As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will contribute to strategic projects, optimize lead management, ensure data integrity, and empower our marketing and sales teams with actionable insights. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Location: San Francisco or Washington, D.C. metro (with 3 days per week working from the office). Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the strategic roadmap for future MarTech innovation, including recommendations for tool replacement, additions, and leveraging AI to streamline efficiencies and enhance personalization.
- Leverage MarTech data and analytics to proactively identify buying signals and enable timely, personalized customer engagements.
- Lead the setup and optimization of new marketing automation tools and critical integrations (e.g., Qualified, conversational AI platforms) to enhance real-time engagement and lead qualification.
- Develop and maintain scalable, next-generation account-based engagement processes focused on smooth progression and conversion for high-value accounts.
- Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to design a robust top-of-funnel customer engagement model using our full suite of marketing and automation tools.
- Identify and implement solutions to manage continuous database growth challenges while maintaining optimal data health.
- Design and implement data flows and automation to eliminate friction, duplication, and lags throughout the sales process.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials and sessions to ensure seamless adoption of new tools and processes.
- Create essential MOPs playbooks and customer journey documentation.
- Provide ongoing support and expertise to users across the organization.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Design teams to ensure consistent data flow, accurate reporting, and scalable processes.
- Manage and optimize the overall marketing technology stack—including integration between Marketo, Salesforce, and other tools—to ensure proper campaign attachments and lead flow.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive marketing dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
- Thoroughly document processes, best practices, and system configurations.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Marketing Operations within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
- Direct experience with at least one major Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) such as Marketo, HubSpot, or Pardot, along with integrated MarTech tools.
- Expertise with Salesforce CRM, including working with custom objects, reports, dashboards, and lead/contact management.
- Advanced analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Solid understanding of lead scoring, routing, and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with data management concepts; exposure to data warehousing or handling large datasets is a plus.
- Experience leveraging AI/ML concepts for marketing operations, including for lead scoring, personalization, or automation.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, sometimes conflicting initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience contributing to strategic roadmaps for MarTech innovation and workflow optimization.
- Ability to develop and implement streamlined funnel models for both traditional and account-based marketing strategies.
