Data Analytics Engineer

Position Overview

Axos Bank is seeking an Analytics Engineer to design, build, test, and maintain robust data infrastructure in a dynamic financial environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, business professionals, and analysts to develop innovative data solutions and visualization tools while supporting production and change management functions. The compensation ranges from $80,000.00/Yr. - $100,000.00/Yr. Additional bonus opportunities include Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10% and Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Stakeholders and the Enterprise Data Warehouse to create best-in-class Data Analytics solutions for the Consumer Bank
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, business and data analysts
• Design, build, test, and deploy logical and physical data models across on-premise and AWS solutions
• Utilize business intelligence, data science, and visualization tools to build data products
• Build and document automated and scalable data pipelines
• Participate in the design, building, and maintenance of data-driven engines
• Provide insights and recommendations to the data team and stakeholders
• Perform code reviews, continuous integration and delivery, release management, testing activities, DevOps, and version control

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI Engineering or a similar role
• Proficiency in SQL programming and data transformation
• Experience with DBT programming
• Proven ability to derive analytical insights from data
• Experience building multi-step ETL jobs and data pipelines
