HSHS Nursing Scholars is provided by the HSHS Wisconsin Division to cover educational expenses up to a maximum of $10,000. By accepting these funds, recipients are obligated to work at an HSHS hospital upon graduation (excluding positions in Women & Infants, Pediatrics, and NICU). The length of the minimum time commitment varies based on the funds chosen during the interview process, and full-time status as a Registered Nurse must be maintained throughout the commitment. HSHS WI hospitals offer dynamic and engaging new graduate experiences that empower nurses to provide quality, compassionate care. HSHS WI hospitals include: HSHS St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay; HSHS St. Mary's Hospital, Green Bay; HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan; and HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls. Schedule: 0. Salary: Based on factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients while adhering to HSHS core values of respect, care, competence, and joy.
- Uphold HSHS policies, including compliance with the COVID-19 vaccination requirement or its approved exemption.
- Commit to working at an HSHS hospital upon graduation in accordance with the scholarship terms.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse holding a valid and current license.
- Ability to maintain full-time status and meet the rigorous standards of patient care and ethical practice.
- Willingness to fulfill the employment commitment at an HSHS hospital upon graduation as required by the scholarship.
