Position Overview

As the Supply Chain Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will serve as a business and system expert for the new Workday ERP system. Your role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to document complex business processes, drive the end-to-end supplier master implementation, and develop the Workday supply chain analytics foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering – Gather, organize, and document business, user, and functional requirements for complex business processes.
  • Prioritization – Prioritize requirements based on key metrics and review analyses for alignment.
  • Designing Future State Processes – Translate business needs into functional design specifications and redefine processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Testing – Create, document, and execute test scenarios to ensure delivered solutions perform as expected.
  • Documentation – Develop detailed business process and technical specification documents for diverse stakeholder groups.
  • End-User Training – Collaborate with the training team to prepare and deliver user-friendly training materials.
  • Project Management – Develop project plans and ensure timely execution of moderately sized sub-projects.
  • Guidance/Supervision – Mentor and guide junior Business Systems Analysts during requirements gathering and solution development.
  • Leadership – Act in place of the Lead Analyst when needed, providing updates and escalating risks.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in a relevant functional area (finance, HR, payroll, supply chain, or sponsored projects) or systems analysis.
  • 4+ years of experience as an ERP (Workday) system user with skills in scoping, requirements gathering, documentation, testing, training, and support.
  • Proven interpersonal and technical skills to diagnose problems and develop effective solutions across organizational levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, finance, supply chain, information systems, computer science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in supplier onboarding processes or vendor master data management and familiarity with Procure-to-Pay functions.
  • Background in a healthcare or university supply chain setting, including converting suppliers from one ERP to another and using large-scale ERP platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence broad stakeholder groups and perform independent analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, and Python.
