Position Overview
Chevron Corporation, a global leader in the energy industry, is seeking entry-level Electrical and Instrumentation & Control Engineers. These positions support operating facilities and projects by applying technical engineering knowledge and project management skills across multiple locations in the U.S., including Houston, Pasadena, Bakersfield, and others. The role is designed for recent graduates or those with up to two years of experience, and offers early-career development through Chevron’s Horizons Program.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize facilities to deliver maximum value safely and reliably.
- Provide technical engineering support for turnarounds and projects.
- Develop and deploy industry leading technologies to reduce carbon, increase efficiency, and maximize returns.
- Utilize digitalization and data analytics to improve process operations and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a student in the final year or a graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in electrical engineering with two years or less related work experience.
- Strong academic performance coupled with excellent communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- The position may require routine driving.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this role is $108,000 - $136,300 for U.S. payroll offers, determined by degree level and discipline.
