Job Description
Farnsworth Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Entry Level - May 2026
In this role, you will work with the electrical engineering team to serve local and nationwide clients in the support of multiple design and construction projects relative to healthcare, commercial, industrial, and educational facilities.
Posting Location for this role: St. Louis, MO
What You'll Do:
- Design of power distribution, lighting and lighting control systems for buildings and industrial facilities
- Design of control systems for industrial facilities
- Integration of fire alarm, voice/data, and other low-voltage systems into buildings
- Provide direction to Designers and CAD Technicians
- Contribute to several projects simultaneously
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree: in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Licenses/Registrations: EIT / FE preferred.
- 0-2 years of Building Electrical and Lighting Design experience
- Microsoft® Office, AutoCAD and REVIT experience required
- Appetite for learning and personal development
- Strong verbal and writing skills
