Respiratory Sales Representative
Position Overview
We are a growing respiratory company specializing in treating the most challenging respiratory patients in the home by pairing best-in-class technology & equipment with the clinical care of a full-time Respiratory Therapist. Our mission is to educate, nurture, and inspire our patients to lead better lives. With our nationally recognized Disease Management program and the lowest 30-day COPD re-admission rates in the industry, our Respiratory Sales Representatives work closely with healthcare decision-makers to ensure a smooth transition for patients from hospital to home, reducing hospital stays and costs while enhancing personalized care.
Key Responsibilities
- Market VieMed’s disease management program to both potential and existing referral sources.
- Develop sales territory action plans and call strategies to maintain ongoing business and drive new market potential.
- Coordinate and provide educational presentations and in-service sessions for healthcare providers.
- Manage account activity, sales documentation, reports, and overall territory management.
- Collaborate with clinical, managerial, and sales teams to promote and market home respiratory therapy services.
- Ensure prompt and accurate billing and documentation of services in line with third-party payer guidelines.
- Provide availability for patient contact and timely response to patient needs.
- Maintain performance levels that meet or exceed established sales quotas.
- Engage in additional duties or projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a resourceful problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Established relationships with Pulmonary, Critical Care, & Hospitalist physicians within the local community.
- Able to provide three letters of recommendation from Pulmonologist physicians.
- Possess a current, valid, active state driver’s license with a clean driving record and own reliable transportation.
- Comply with **COVID-19 vaccination** requirements as a condition of employment.
- Demonstrated full life cycle healthcare sales experience with a proven track record.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and territory management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous LTACH marketing and/or LTACH clinical liaison experience.
- Previous clinical experience with demonstrated skills in patient assessment.
- Formal sales training.
