Emergency Medicine Physician Nocturnists Career Opportunity – Louisville, KY
The Norton Healthcare Emergency Medicine Department is recruiting board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physicians, specifically nocturnists. The selected candidates will join more than 60 physicians and 40 advanced practice providers in the emergency departments at our five adult-service hospitals in Louisville, Kentucky.
Norton Healthcare offers quality, comprehensive care to over 180,000 patients annually across Greater Louisville and throughout Kentucky. In 2024, an average of 15,000 visits a month were made across these facilities. About the Position
for candidates board certified by American Board of Emergency Medicine/American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine or eligible for certification
Locations covered:
- Norton Audubon Hospital
- Norton Brownsboro Hospital
- Norton Hospital
- Norton West Louisville Hospital
- Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital
Shifts: Eight- to 10-hour shifts, flexibility to work full time or part time; day shift or nocturnist models available
Work model: Collaborative work model with advanced practice provider team
CME: Continuing medical education (CME) opportunities within Norton Healthcare and funds available for additional CME
Other benefits:

- $30,000 sign-on bonus; $10,000 to $15,000 relocation
