Position Overview

Continental Senior Communities is seeking a dynamic Regional Director of Sales & Marketing to lead sales efforts across our senior living communities in Central Ohio, Pittsburgh, Lexington, and Southern Michigan. In this role you will provide hands-on support, drive occupancy growth, mentor sales teams, and implement strategies for long-term success. Regional travel is required but is focused and manageable, allowing you to effectively stay connected with your teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Community Relations Directors (CRDs) to achieve sales goals.
  • Support onboarding and training of new CRDs in the region.
  • Provide hands-on coaching through tour observations, sales calls, and outreach activities.
  • Partner with communities to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, prospective residents, and families.
  • Monitor key sales metrics (lead generation, conversion rates, closing ratios) and drive performance improvements.
  • Stay current on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in senior living.
  • Collaborate with leadership on annual sales and marketing budgets.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide recognition, and ensure training compliance.
  • Represent the organization at marketing events and community activities.
  • Travel regionally to support communities and sales initiatives within the assigned area.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in senior living, including at least 2 years in a multi-site leadership role.
  • Ability to travel up to 90% as required.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with a proven track record in team development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, market dynamics, and the competitor landscape.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
