Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family evidenced‑based care including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
• Perform administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow‑up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
• Handle patient appointments and conduct routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
• Engage patients by discussing healthy lifestyle choices, performing diagnostic tests, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive care plan.
• Encourage patients to become active participants in their healthcare through screenings, behavioral health and wellness initiatives, and chronic condition management.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide holistic, evidenced‑based care including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.
• Experience in ordering and administering immunizations and injections (including COVID‑19, influenza, TB, Depo) along with providing vaccine counseling and education.
• Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
• Ability to complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
• Proficiency in speaking and writing in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) as required by the market.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including proficiency in CPR and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
• Must pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider; prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is a plus.
