Role and Responsibilities:

The Supply Chain Warehouse Auditor is responsible for overseeing the accuracy of warehouse activities, ensuring operations align with company standards and safety regulations. The position focuses on performing audits, maintaining compliance, and identifying discrepancies in warehouse processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing regular inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and identify potential issues.
  • Assessing warehouse operations to ensure they adhere to company policies and safety standards.
  • Documenting audit results and communicating any discrepancies to management for resolution.
  • Ensuring precise tracking and recording of inventory movements and stock levels.
  • Collaborating with warehouse teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Providing recommendations to enhance inventory accuracy, safety, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Assisting in the training of warehouse staff on proper inventory control and auditing procedures.
  • Contributing to the creation and maintenance of auditing procedures and related reporting systems.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to spot inconsistencies in inventory and warehouse operations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team to address issues and improve processes.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and general warehouse functions.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, especially for documenting audit findings and reporting discrepancies to management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in warehouse auditing or inventory control.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) or other inventory tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and compliance standards.
