Position Overview

The role is for a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Python and Machine Learning at Robotics technology LLC. You will deliver impactful AI solutions, optimize applications and infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency, and design scalable data science systems. Compensation: $67,000 - $95,000 per year. Location: Phoenix, United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver impactful machine learning and data science solutions
• Optimize AI applications and infrastructure for enhanced capacity, performance, and cost-efficiency
• Design scalable AI and data science solutions for large and distributed datasets
• Conduct performance tuning for AI and ML workloads ensuring optimal resource utilization
• Maintain integrity of AI pipelines, including model versioning, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with teams to implement CI/CD practices for seamless production integration
• Engage in full stack development as required for scalable applications
• Analyze data and create efficient data pipelines for extensive datasets
• Utilize cloud platforms and containerization technologies effectively
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage project initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, and Data Engineering
• Proven track record of delivering impactful AI solutions
• Expertise in AI application and infrastructure optimization, focusing on capacity, performance, and cost
• Strong background in optimizing architectures with emphasis on data security, privacy, application reliability, infrastructure scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable AI solutions for large-scale, distributed data
• Proficient in OCI performance tuning for AI/ML and Generative AI workloads
• Skilled in hyperparameter tuning and performance optimization for AI/ML and generative AI models
• Knowledge of AI lifecycle management including robust pipelines for model versioning, testing, and deployment
• Experience with CI/CD best practices for seamless integration into production environments
• Full stack development experience in Java, .Net, React, Node.js, Flask/Django, and REST APIs
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Experience in exploratory data analysis, data engineering, and creating data pipelines for large datasets
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like OCI and Azure, as well as containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Prior experience in a customer-facing or product-oriented role
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
