As a Medical Director Psychiatrist, you will lead clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and provide direct patient care, ensuring operational excellence throughout our service lines.

Compensation: $350,000k - $398,000k annually, depending on education and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a leader and role model for medical staff.
  • Set a positive tone focused on quality care and effective cross-functional teamwork.
  • Promote a healthy culture that aligns with our mission and vision, upholding company values.
  • Manage provider caseloads, including arranging coverage for absences and shifts in demand.
  • Provide direct clinical consultation and expert support in complex patient care decisions, including suicide prevention and care transitions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support productivity, education, compliance, and performance of providers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of psychiatric staff, including recruitment, orientation, and training.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Medicine (MD) and DEA Certification.
  • Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of MN.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-residency clinical experience required.
  • Experience in inpatient settings.
  • 5 years of Medical Director/Physician leadership experience required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Joint Commission standards and relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Ability to treat patients across all age populations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (preferred).
