Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the following:
    • a. Sheet Metal Forming
      • i. Hydro Form
      • ii. Punch Press
      • iii. Brake Press
    • b. Welding
      • i. Manual TIG
      • ii. Robotic is a bonus
    • c. Heat Treat
    • d. CNC Machining
    • e. Ability to troubleshoot
    • f. MOT/BOM creation
    • g. Ability to collaborate with operators on the floor
    • h. SolidWorks
      • i. Ability to analyze models
      • ii. Ability to create models from blueprints
    • i. Well versed in Aerospace specifications
    • j. Well versed in Aerospace quality requirements
    • k. Excell
    • l. Excellent organizational skills
    • m. Excellent communication skills
    • n. Excellent time management skills
    • o. MRB/QA Holds
      • i. Analyze product on QA Hold
        • 1. Disposition
          • a. Create rework scheme
          • b. Submit as is
          • c. Scrap

Negotiable:

  • 1) College Degree preferred
  • 2) Ability to CNC program
    • a. 3, 4, 5-Axis Mills
    • b. Horizontal & vertical turning centers
    • c. Gibbs or equivalent
  • 3) Familiarity with Fiber and Co2 Lasers
  • 4) Familiarity with NADCAP Audits
    • a. Support audits as needed
  • 5) Microsoft Project or ability to learn
  • 6) Contract Review (CRA) or ability to learn
    • a. Analyze drawings/models
    • b. Ensure alignment to PO

Weekly Assignments:

  • 1) NPI Team (75%)
    • a. Collaborate with Program Managers
    • b. Develop MOT
    • c. Develop robust manufacturing processes
    • d. Develop work instructions
    • e. Develop in-process inspection methods
    • f. Train operators on processes
    • g. Participate in weekly customer calls & onsite visits
    • h. Provide technical support
  • 2) MRB (25%)
    • a. Will be assigned to the MRB team
    • b. Participate in daily MRB exercises
      • i. Review
      • ii. Disposition
