Position Overview

Continental Services Group, Inc., a private blood bank with over 55 years of operational excellence, is seeking an Operations & Logistics Manager. In this full‑time role based in Miami & Fort Lauderdale, FL, you will be pivotal in managing warehouse operations, purchasing, inventory control, and logistics to ensure the efficient supply of critical biomedical materials in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations in warehouse facilities ensuring safe and efficient storage of biological materials.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to optimize stock levels.
  • Coordinate with Production and Warehouse teams for timely processing of incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Manage purchasing processes: negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Plan and execute logistics strategies and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize distribution.
  • Evaluate current processes, enforce compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement a facilities improvement plan while coordinating maintenance resources.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with experience in operations, warehouse management, purchasing, or logistics.
  • Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage is ideal.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and proven experience working with vendors.
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in inventory and logistics operations.
  • Proven supervisory or managerial experience in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bilingual candidates (English and Spanish) are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience working in a regulated environment is preferred.
