Position Overview

YipitData is a leading market research and analytics firm in the disruptive economy—recently valued at over $1B after raising up to $475M. Through SpendHound, a 100% free software renewal management platform, the company offers a comprehensive view of software applications, contract management, renewal reminders, and expert procurement advice. As a Sales Development Representative, you will drive growth by engaging prospective outbound clients in the Spend Management space and progress toward full end-to-end sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize outbound sales skills via cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn messages, and more.
  • Generate interest and secure meetings with Finance, Operations, and IT leaders.
  • Develop proficiency with sales technology tools such as Salesforce, Groove, Aircall, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Development Manager, Enablement Manager, and Head of Sales to grow your skills.
  • Help refine messaging strategies to optimize client engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years in a high-velocity sales environment as a top performing SDR/BDR.
  • High proficiency in English and experience selling to U.S. prospects.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence and resilience in handling rejection.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, resourceful, and coachable.
  • A positive outlook and sound judgment when approaching new situations.

  • Compensation: Annual salary up to $57,000 OTE ($45,000 base + $12,000 bonus potential). Final offers are based on experience, skills, and internal benchmarks.
  • Remote-friendly work arrangements with options to work in NYC (headquarters), select office hubs, or other US locations. Note that income may be subject to New York State tax withholding dependent on the work location.
