Position Overview

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Aerospace Systems Engineer to join their dynamic, remote-first engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the systems engineering lifecycle for new and existing aerospace projects.
• Define and document system requirements, specifications, and interface control documents.
• Develop system architectures and high-level designs.
• Conduct technical reviews, analyses, and trade studies.
• Oversee the integration and testing of aerospace systems.
• Identify and manage project risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to management and clients.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in aerospace systems engineering.
• Extensive experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in systems engineering V&V processes.
• Strong understanding of avionics, propulsion, or structural systems.
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).
• Demonstrated leadership experience on complex aerospace programs.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment.
