Key Responsibilities
- Lead the systems engineering lifecycle for new and existing aerospace projects.
- Define and document system requirements, specifications, and interface control documents.
- Develop system architectures and high-level designs.
- Conduct technical reviews, analyses, and trade studies.
- Oversee the integration and testing of aerospace systems.
- Identify and manage project risks and dependencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to management and clients.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in aerospace systems engineering.
- Extensive experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in systems engineering V&V processes.
- Strong understanding of avionics, propulsion, or structural systems.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).
- Demonstrated leadership experience on complex aerospace programs.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment.
