Supply Chain Intern

Position Overview

As the Supply Chain Management Intern at our Nashville Division Support Center in Goodlettsville, TN, you’ll gain direct, hands‑on experience in managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and optimizing logistics – ensuring products move seamlessly from suppliers to our partner retailers. This role is pivotal in maintaining product flow and achieving cost‑effective, timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain in‑depth exposure to all facets of supply chain management including inventory control and shipment coordination.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize logistics and ensure timely product delivery.
• Prepare and deliver an end‑of‑internship presentation to our Executive Leadership Team.

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management (Supply Chain Management major preferred).
• Junior or senior level students preferred; recent graduates are acceptable.
• Solid communication skills along with strong organizational abilities.
• High attention to detail with a willingness to ask questions and follow through.
• Initiative and enthusiasm to learn, plus the ability to follow direction.
• Commitment to a full‑time, 40‑hour per week, 10‑week internship with potential for overtime.
• Availability for travel to the AWG Support Center in Kansas City, MO for a presentation.
• Flexibility for possible relocation for future full‑time opportunities.
