Job Description

Position Overview

Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is seeking a Sales Support Representative to join our team. In this role, you will proactively assist Regional Sales Managers throughout the entire sales cycle—from initial customer engagement to closed sales and cash receipt—ensuring profitable sales and long-term customer relationships. Salary: $67,000 to $80,000 annually (with bonus potential). Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM-4:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM-11:00 AM, with occasional late afternoon, evening, or weekend hours as needed. You will embody Frazer’s core values and work collaboratively with team members, vendors, and customers to achieve both departmental and corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively support Regional Sales Managers as they drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales and cash receipt.
  • Build customer relationships and promote Frazer solutions by responding to inquiries via phone, email, in person, or mail with technical specifications, pricing, quotes, and other necessary information.
  • Coordinate in-house resources to support unit sales and production.
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales opportunities.
  • Assist with in-person and remote customer specification review meetings to understand and address customer requirements.
  • Take initiative in maintaining contact with customers and prospects to support Regional Sales Managers.
  • Accurately maintain information such as sales opportunities, interactions, estimates, order forecasts, and customer orders in Frazer computer systems.
  • Configure, price, and quote complex products—including ambulances, stretchers, and other medical equipment—with accuracy.
  • Perform hands-on inspections on used units brought in for re-mounting on a new truck chassis.
  • Evaluate and respond to bids and formal requests for proposals, including periodic bid submissions with product offerings and pricing.
  • Attend final inspections and in-service delivery walk-arounds with customers when their units are ready for pickup.
  • Actively pursue productivity enhancements by recommending and/or implementing policy and process improvements.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record check
  • Reliable form of transportation and vehicle insurance
  • Must be able to complete and pass all pre-employment screening

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree preferred
  • Some sales office experience
  • Experience selling to municipal governments
  • Fire/EMS background
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
