Job Description
Position Overview
This role is responsible for reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly manual reports produced by the DIAA Reporting Analysts and Business Analyst Team, ensuring accuracy and resolving issues as needed. The candidate will publish reports to customers, work closely with Business Analysts to translate reporting requests into structured, physical reports, and support both scheduled and ad hoc reporting as well as report automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly manual reports for accuracy and resolve any issues.
- Publish reports to customers based on established distribution lists.
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst to review reporting requests and determine the report layout, including measures and dimensions.
- Generate Cognos/Tableau reports for the Client Services Department accurately and on schedule.
- Create and deliver scheduled reports (daily, weekly, or monthly) and provide training to business users.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis using BI tools such as Power Play, Access, SQL, and Excel.
- Troubleshoot issues related to report data integrity and utilize tools like Cognos Report Studio, PowerPlay, Tableau, or VBA to develop and enhance reports.
- Assist with special initiatives and collaborate with the Data Analyst team to incorporate required data into the data warehouse.
- Identify and implement improvements to reduce redundant manual reporting through automation.
