Key Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, perform a variety of secretarial duties requiring detailed knowledge of hospital and Medical Staff Services policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of high school is required.
  • Minimum of one year of vocational training in business school preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of stenographic dictation or dictation equipment experience.
  • Minimum of two years experience in a responsible secretarial position, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a Medical Staff Services Department preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge and expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Provider credentialing or Medical Staff Services department experience is strongly preferred.
