Position Overview

Registered Nurse - Part Time at Stockton Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Stockton, California is a modern inpatient rehabilitation hospital devoted to restoring hope and function for patients after life-changing injuries or illnesses. Our hospital provides specialized rehab services for stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic surgery recovery, and other complex conditions. With a caring team of certified rehabilitation nurses and licensed therapists, we deliver intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing care to patients within the assigned unit.
  • Perform patient assessments, plan, supervise, intervene, and evaluate care to prevent complications, restore optimal function, and assist patients in adapting to lifestyle changes.
  • Integrate the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.

Required Qualifications

  • A passion for providing patient care combined with strong clinical skills.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Current State Registered Nurse License.
  • Current CPR Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
  • One (1) year of recent experience preferred; acute care setting experience is a plus.
  • ACLS certification preferred, especially in LTACH and Texas hospitals.
  • Knowledge of current nursing theory and practice, including infection control and wound care standards.
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards set forth by TJC and CMS.
  • Understanding of clinical operations and adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and effective organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and the capacity to maintain confidentiality.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work closely and professionally with others.
  • Commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

Compensation

The wage range for this role considers factors such as skill sets, experience, education, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is USD $61.00/Hr. to USD $80.49/Hr.
