EPIC Clarity Data Analyst

Position Overview

The EPIC Clarity Data Analyst will interpret and transform data into accurate, consistent, and timely information while balancing the "big picture" strategic vision with everyday details. The individual in this position will play a key role in the transformation of vast amounts of clinical and business data into meaningful datasets that provide key actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize EPIC Clarity to develop reports and dashboards that are timely, relevant, reliable and predictive in nature
• Interpret data, analyze results, and provide actionable reports to stakeholders
• Collaborate with CU Medicine Revenue Services leadership to prioritize business and information needs
• Develop data collection processes and other strategies optimizing efficiency and overall quality of reporting deliverables
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Acquire data from primary/secondary data sources and ensure consistency/accuracy of analytics ecosystems across multiple platforms
• Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science or business-related area
• 2+ years relevant experience, preferably in a physician billing or hospital environment
• Prior/current experience building dashboards with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
• Epic Clarity Data Model Certification
• Intermediate-advanced SQL Proficiency
• Strong analytical competency with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong project management skills with the ability to advance project progress within a timeline
• Flexibility and ability to maintain positive working relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Track record of success as a healthcare data analyst or similar business analyst
• Experience using AthenaIDX
• Experience using STATA or similar data science tool/language (Python or R)

Compensation

• Pay Type: Salary
• Min Hiring Rate: $90,000.00
• Max Hiring Rate: $100,000.00
